I've got a CDN22 that I need to get rid of. No idea what it's worth.

Sort of on the subject, I have lots of records that I recorded to mp3 a few years back. I don't have any turntables to speak of, a set of something like a cdn22 would be cheap and perfect for a little spin now and then. Anyone recommend legacy product like this BUT must have a memory card or USB slot to read files from. Help? Cheers chaps.

Usually go for around £50-80 on eBay.

How about just getting a midi controller and going digital?

Possibly. I did try it before, I had a bcd3000 but couldn't get on with it.

Not true. They make some good stuff - occasionally. You just have to sort through the all the turds. Many in the PA world prefer the Behringer DCX2496 to the offerings by BSS and DBX. I would go as far to say it's almost an "industry standard".

It's a matter of taste, I've always found the stuff shoddily made and extremely cheap components used.
I've had an old VMX 1000 mixer what I bought to get us out the shit, shit being the operative word. Its been in my loft for 4 years now, best place for it. I still have a retro Kam mobile pro and it kicks 10 bells out of the VMX for sound quality, of course there are better.
Other stuff I've used of theirs.... nah!! Not for us, we wouldn't dare hire it out.

Getting back on the subject, everybody's got a numark CDN 22. Had one for years as a backup.

Not really, you must not have seen or used the DCX2496 then. Like I said, it's practically an "industry standard". I don't want to be rude, but it pisses over anything Kam have, or will ever make!

You know Behringher have acquired Midas and Klark Teknik? Food for thought.
