Any Recommendations for a cheap directional coupler (<£100) or should I diy it? It needs to be able to cover up to a few hundred Mhz so I can test for harmonics.

Rigmo do you have any specific recommendations? What coupler are you using?

If you can get a bunch of 3db couplers and bandpass filters - you can cascade them to combine transmitters into a single antenna system

Has anyone had success with building their own coupler ?

I also saw on Dutch RF Shop there is a coupler that is rated 800-2500mhz.In the description it said that the coupler is fine on 100mhz. I emailed them and they said that they have used it to test transmitters but they first worked out the difference in coupling below the recommended frequency range and then corrected the readings from the analyser.

On DRFS these are €17.95 but the same ones are on eBay for under a score....sounds like it’s worth a go! And if it doesn’t work out then at least you get 3 n connectors and a die cast box! :tup

Here it is: https://dutchrfshop.nl/en/hf/607-direct ... upler.html

1 watt = good enough for LPF trimming :tup
