Little Chinese Amp

Just messing around with this little 6W Chinese Amp.

Currently, the min input is 0.5. However, what do you think it would take to lower the input to 0.2, but still get 6 watts? Also, I am wondering If I could push the output higher if I swapped the final for a RD15HVF1?

I can't find any info on it on the net other than FleeBay

Any help appreciated.

It uses a Mitsubishi C1971 Transistor which was discontinued in 1998.

To swap for a RD15VF1 MOS FET would take a few of circuit mods I think :smoke

Not 100% sure that diagram is for this amp?

You can drive it with lower input, but obviously lower output. Thought it would be a good little project to modify for maximum smoke, not magic smoke!

Going to see if I can mod it and will let anyone know if you are interested.
