Getting RnB/Hip-Hop/Urban/Garage on 99.0 in Stereo. No RDS, but the audio is of reasonable quality, sounding half decent. Signal is about 44dB in SE13. Been hearing this one on and off for quite a while now. Never heard anyone live or any IDs so maybe just a hobby broadcaster on auto-pilot

Does this station even have a name? Heard about this one over a year ago and no one knows the name of it....

Longer than that over 2 years on and off another waste of time why bother?

I was saying how long ago I heard it not how long it's been active. Apparently it's just silent all night and through the day and just comes on around 6pm just playing pre-recordings. No RDS, no jingles, no idents....no point.

Maybe they like having ofcom coming out to bust it this is the waist of time stations to beat them all

Coming off a block in London that council don’t care about so it’s safe and never going off that’s why it’s so easy for ex-pirate hobby broadcasters to put sumink on for fun. Ofcom ain’t gonna touch something that isn’t making any money.

I'm not getting anything here in Bermondsey SE1. Maybe I'm too far away from the tx site.

Are you using a radio with the aerial fixed in one spot or do you have a portable radio you could try at a north facing window or part of your house?

It's a Roberts Vintage radio with a fixed aerial. It's great at picking up the pirates. I live on the south side of a big building, with south facing windows, so I don't generally get the north London stations very well anyway, assuming this one is from the north.

That makes every bit of sense then and I expect a portable radio in the north side of your home would probably receive it.
