Listening to Point Blank (when it was on 108) on a Saturday night before heading out...
I didn't think you would be able to pick up pointblank 108 as far away as where you are doing your reception reports from unless you used to live in West London pointblank was never very strong on 108

I could pick them up occasionally in Andover, West Hampshire around 2001/02/03, when it came from Langley.

That's quite impressive it certainly wasn't very powerful in the early days I used to go to Oxford quite often then and it was always blasted out by something on 107.9 the station that is called Jack FM 2 now

This was around 1984 & Paul Dodds Electro Show on a Saturday night on JFM in Stereo blasted out on a portable cassette recorder !
RIP Capt Rock. Sadly died earlier this year

JFM was gone by about January 10th 1985 unlike Horizon and Solar it was a terminal studio raid and they never had a proper close down like the other 2 did in September that year

Yep... Princess was power played on many at the time, also sang live at a few all daters too. Great voice

Loose Ends took it to another level. Them n The Cool Notes who made many many pirate jingles started out as pirate material that went on to bigger things ie the top 40 charts
