Hi guys,
I am heading down from Lancashire to a small town called Buckingham near Milton Keynes and Oxford.
Just wondering if there is any frequencies to listen out for. Do any London stations or Birmingham stations reach there?
Thanks

Not in that area BBC Northampton is strong on 104.2 I only said 87.5 FM and 87.8 because they are the only channels not in use as long as you are not next to someone in a car listening to a podcast transmitter but it's 60 miles away so it's a long shot

I dunno why you would want to be on 87.5. When iv listened to Live FM in the past I get itrips cutting in every 2 mins where people donβt change them off the default frequency. Iv also listened to peoples phone calls through them when sat in a car park

I know what you mean but I have been on high ground near highwycombe and with no other car's around 87.5 is still clear without other cars driving around

thats one of the reasons I don't transmit now, I do find them interesting when there going by, mostly a lot of r and b I get, there was one I used to get was like a babies rattle, it was 50 khz off the frequency which made it strange, occasional children's programes mostly a dead silent carrier.

Sadly nothing at present. UKβS Finest on 87.5 were on for many years ( approx 2003-2017 ) and put out a great signal across Bucks, Oxon and Berks .

It's enoying on 87.5 even in London livefmuk is interrupted every 2 minutes by a local mp3 player usually playing R&B
