Wouldn't work for obvious reasons.

i reccon it could be done for a short time at height of 25-30 metres with a coax aerial attached to the boootom would fly out... migth only syat up arf hour fun thouh

Much easier and cost effective to get climbing and suss a discrete high point ,it wouldn't work and come on it's like "hey look at me I'm a drone /quad copter with 100 ft of coax flapping around ....lol

Always thought of using a weather balloon but never got round to it. Then there were some guys in a hot air balloon running live over an autobahn iirc. Can't find the video on youtube yet.
