I used to love this station in what I think was about 2003 times. I though a thread about this station would be nice. i used to listen In Westcliff on a Saturday night collecting my curry from Leigh on sea in my old motor. Interested in anything about Charge FM, sites, images etc.

I liked a DJ called Complex. Especially good Saturday evenings with dark side drum and bass stuff.

As far as I remember it mainly used to come out from Brooke House in Basildon

I wonder what Slick is up to these days? I wasn't close enough to know about the politics with Charge any other stations so I comment purely as a listener - the station was around for a pretty long time. Back when I used to deliver takeaways of a weekend it was always good to hear them still on early 2000's. Representing DnB til the bitter end. I went to School with Complex, a nice guy who loved his music.

Used to pick up Charge in Ramsgate! big signal when Acid Harry was around, I listened to the station from 2003 till about 2006 I think? I do have some recordings of the station and when it returned in the 2010s I had a little stint on there. This is from one of my old youtube channels , tape was prob a bit fucked hence why it sounds like its faster than normal.
