Hi there iv been given this amp just looking for people's views on it. Is it worth me turning it on and having a play or is it going to cause interference all over the band, don't no much about it that's why I'm here lol. It's 30watt out apparently. I have a nrg pro lll 4watt for driver

The output filter is not of the best design.

It's impossible to say just by looking at a picture whether it's going to be clean or not. Put it on a spectrum analyser.

I'm only generalising because I can't see the values of any capacitors or tell what device it is. The general topology looks sound. There's LF damping. There's been a bit of bodging in the matching networks (suspect the trimmer caps are small) and because of this and the way the coils in those matching networks have been manhandled it's possibly quite frequency selective. So prepare for a bit of re-work if you're not using it too near the original frequency it was on. Can't see what device it is so can't comment on supply voltage, that coil on the collector, or how much welly you'll achieve with your 4W in but that should be enough for 30W out with most bipolar transistors of this ilk. Like wisepranker said, that filter will "do" (assuming the right capacitances) but could be better (and better laid out), and I'd tidy up that mess between the filter and the coax.
