Hi
I am looking at both these transmitters to replace my Chinese one this the one here

Just wondering if these are good price?
And will there be any difference in signal?
as the NRG is just 4 watts but the board looks a lot better so will signal get out more?
The PRO 3 PLL also seems quite popular as it came up but sold out really quick.

But it might broadcast over the hole band?

Well, through personal experience I have one of those Veronica PLL9 boards, They are not a patch on the NRG kits one. The stereo coder may as well not be there (unless I got a crap one) either.
Mine tends to be quite unstable at the top and bottom end of the band.
The NRG is the one if you really want to go that way I think, but I'm sure there will be many suggestions on what is the best one to pick. Oh yeh, DON'T touch those Chinese things.

Just wondering this could be in my price range
Does this look OK to?
Says 4 watt PLL FM Transmitter/Exciter a****f / Veronica / NRG No-Tune!!
So is it a bit of both?
How would it compare with the pro 3?

lol on a serious note!
its a shite copy of the NRG!! for starters i can see the out of lock power down feature is missing??
if you are gonna go down this route? just build a proper NRG!!
theres many more PIC/synth based exciters out there that are half the size and build time!
Pesonally i wouldnt pay 85 quid? but the choice is yours?

You could have a go at building sinus's 1 watt NRG board using a pic, alot less parts to assemble, he's posted the pcb layout and parts list in another post.
As already been said the dutch 1 watter for 49 quid is a good buy, if you want more power you can always add an amp of your choice to boost your power.
The nrg copy one looks to be a cross over from the pro2 to the pro3 before they changed the pll circuit, they are just massive, he's got it up starting at £50, you could ask he'd take 35 make him an offer, i noticed that the dutch one also as an offer button and as already accepted 2 offers you may get one for less than £49.

I'd go with what Shorty says in that the NRG one looks like some prototype before the Pro 3 was marketed.
The Dutch one looks the part, but I've always found components a pain in the arse to change on those type of PCB's.
Has anyone tried and tested that Dutch one, and if so what's the score?
I'm sure it'll be pretty sweet if it's RF Head's build and design.
