Hi, My name is Ella.

I am writing from the Hackney Citizen, an independent newspaper in Hackney. I am writing something on the recent 'clampdown' on pirate radio by Hackney Council. I am trying to find some pirate radio DJ's in Hackney who might be willing to chat anonymously about the current situation with pirate stations in Hackney and surrounding areas.

I have spoken to a few local internet stations and to an listener who used to live in a tower block opposite the high-rise Rush FM DJ's used to abseil into, but would be great to get some more voices. If anyone can help please send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Also looking for some pictures!

that video, what a load of bullshit, ofcom reckon pirates can make 4 grand a week from running it and dj's pay £20 an hour subs lol they obviously know fuck all. More like stations lose money all the time trying to keep on air.
