Want to learn

Hi,

I'm really wanting to learn how to build very simple rf circuits, I understand that I would require a lot of expensive equipment. But in terms of building low powered stuff such as a few hundred milliwatts or even 1w, where can I start? I've already built the 1w Veronica vfo a few years ago, but this felt more like just building Lego (as in no real skill was required you just put stuff where the instructions told you to)

Can anyone suggest any good books, resources or basically where to begin?

Thanks!!

There are some fine books in pdf you can download. My computer is broken but i'll try to dig some links to post them here..
Till then, you can google basics of oscillator design for example

Hello Mr Soundz! :)
I would recommend researching the Colpitts oscillator! its where i started :)
With a couple of caps, inductors and a transistor you can build a working transmitter! Obviously not suitable alone for serious broadcasting but its a good way to learn the basics! :)
