90.6 Cyndicut received in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Pal of mine was picking up Cyndicut in Farnborough this morning.

....So it's going right the way over London, through Surrey, all the way into Hampshire. That's pretty damn decent for an Essex based station and I've not heard of anything from there hitting Hants before. :tup

Thats good going, best signal I get down south from Essex is Project. Currently 39-48dB, better than a lot of South London stations that are much closer..

On the FM, probably that thing which came on from the Irish mountains using 1 megawatt ERP. :whistle

I got a Sony ST-SB920 and Pioneer F-676 with one of those shitey circular halo aerials. Both are great tuners, the Sony can be modded for dxing by changing the filters inside. The Pioneer has "super narrow" feature which works really well when two stations are 100khz away from each other. I would say the Pioneer is best for pulling in a weak signal, it can pick up stuff the Sony cant even receive (unmodded). I mainly use the Sony for signal readings and RDS :tup

I've got one of those in silver but it still has the standard filters. Currently using a Sony XDR-F1HD which is great for stations 100KHz apart and the most sensitive tuner I've ever used. :tup

Easy Jack, hope you're well. I expect it is mate, you've probably got to stick your radio on 90.55 because of BBC Radio 2 90.7 Isle of Wight (250kW). If you were able to get it on 90.6 without Radio 2 there it would probably be slightly better.

I've got it in weak Worthing every day since it's been back on, under normal conditions.

I haven't recently but heard it battling with another station on 95.5 a few months ago, about a year or so ago it used to come in pretty well once you get north of the big hills above Worthing. I'll give it another try when I get back home next week.
