Ofcom cancel Raw Radio 87.5's 1st Birthday Bash event!

Ofcom has cancelled Raw Radio's birthday bash, they approached the club with a warning letter stating if they allow the event to go ahead their nightclub license will be revoked.

....Since their arrival Raw have gained a good following, playing various styles rarely catered for these days and with a good signal throughout London.

Tbh they should have expected this it was obviously going to happen. It was all over there RDS and DJ's constantly plugging "UK 1st Birthday Bash" etc..

It might have done them a favour Its very hard to fill a venue that size from a pirate radio station.

They'd already sold almost 700 tickets and that was well over a week ago.

promoters always exaggerate there ticket sales but fair play if they did..

or do what other stations do create a brand that's not related to the radio station and use the station to promote it.
