Anyone ever used these aerials before?

Seen these on eBay for a good year or more, they look very strange but are they any good?

Was thinking the same thing
It's expencive because you need to buy also the balun from them

But for what i can see it's nothing more then a J antenna with a other base match nothing more

That's 400 Watts reflected.
Mill finished boom and elements for highest levels of accuracy
Nothing special about that - mill finish is as it comes after being extruded.
They also are claiming that it's a 5 kW antenna but only supply a 1 kW balun.
Quoting dBi is misleading, too.

Hmmm, I've seen this too. Not convinced at all.

However, there was some guy selling a slim jim for this band on eBay a while back too. Anyone see that?
