driving around manchester city center over the weekend and i have to say irie fm signal and audio is very bad why would they waste there time broadcasting there signal covers a 2 mile radius.........

They get battered off 105.9 too I notice .

They obviously aren't bothered coz after 8 years they've still not done anything about it. Just a little change to 105.7 would do but from what I'm aware they're only bothered about hitting Moss Side and Hulme.

Correct. Any further out than their target area, and they are nicely hidden in City Talk's skirt. I doubt Citytalk are that bothered about negligible number of potential listeners outside their target area being unable to pick them up. Irie get the odd raid, but it seems to work for them so fair play. A shame the rest of us can't use 105.7 though.
