Help with this pll

Post by Sietedj » Sat Mar 05, 2016 5:52 pm

Hello again, this module have a transmitter that was in the '90s.
I do not know the current count is connected, or audio, or antenna. I have drawn with colored wires where soldiers went to see if anyone is able to know how to get to have testing with him.
The same is not easy to know what I ask but anyway thanks in advance.

I've never seen one like that before, where did you get it from?

I'm from Valencia in Spain and these the riding a technician here in the 90's.
I do not know if yours is a design or is taken from a scheme then. This does not cover the entire bande FM 88-108. Then made another with which it already could use 88-108, then this so I stayed. So now I wanted to use it to test the stereo encoder I have.

Going by some of the components it does look very old but it looks pretty decent.
The tracks underneath look like what I've seen out of valve radios from the 1960s. :)

Nice that you got it working, how much output power are you getting?

...Oh and what is that strange looking silver component between the two coils next to the output device?

Hello, power is minimal, I have nothing to measure. The component questions I have no idea what is :-(

That odd looking part looks like one of those Beehive trimmer Capacitor's used in 70s to 90s stuff to me, but with the image being a bit blurry I'm not entirely sure.

Definitely looks hand done, or from a hand done original. Maybe tape or sticky sheet; cut and stuck on film - used with UV and photo resist, or possibly manually drawn / painted on the board.
