Thoughts on this BM108 Antenna?

As per the subject, has anyone tried this Antenna?

Is the claim of 4.5DBD exaggerated or about right? http://www.moonraker.eu/bm108-fm-88-108 ... ar-antenna

Thanks mate.

I can't find any user reviews anywhere about this so I'm just going to leave it for now.

£70 is a bit much to pay if it pans out to be shit.

In my experience Moonraker are half decent antennas, I've got one of their discones and it's a solid build. Since he says it's a colinear (rather than a straight 5/8 vertical) I'd say the quoted gain is slightly high but in the right ball park. As you say though, it's on the pricey side. Why don't you make an antenna, if you plan it out carefully enough it's not that hard to get decent results and it's quite a satisfying result too.
He said shuffy! I said WOT? Woo!
