Looks like Ofcom are closing Baldock monitoring station, or perhaps they're just buying new stuff?

In any case it's being auctioned off tomorrow!!

I suspect it's a clear out of old stuff. One of the power meters was due for calibration in 2000!

In the covering email I got about the auction, it said "due to re-organisation of the business", so who knows!

They seem to have a lot of Anritsu MS2601As. My one also has an Ofcom sticker on it and I've had it for a while.

That's official then - OFCOM are a "business"!! Maybe they're streamlining to ensure they remain competitive in the marketplace and achieve the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction and service!

Quite, what a load of cobblers! They haven't hit many pirates recently so I know some "customers" who are very satisfied.

ballcock station nice

looks like lots of old scanners the twin casset recorder (lott 55) looks nice, sure lots of people will beable to use that today!
