21 groups apply for London radio licences
So the applications are in when will they get there decision made ?
who you think will get them ?
Interesting to note that the application does not advertise a frequency for the stn to apply for the stn have to state where they will broadcast from and to what frequency and ofcom will test this for suitability
On that basis i would assume only about 4- 5 will be successful with the obvious stand out one being mi soul

No chance. They're all noise and no substance. It's more likely to be another minority ethnic station and will be a complete waste of space that will collapse after 6 months just like they all do. OFCOM pick poor candidates so they fail, which shows the politicians that community radio can't work!Ironman wrote:Love to see Starpoint get it.

I think you are probably right and this is not the first time starpiont have applied for a licence they went for Slough and Maidenhead in 1991 and also tried in 2010 in London also. I think the old choice fm people might have a chance?

Probably not. This will just be another example of the duplicity of OFCOM.

Exactly. Underfunded, under prepared, un-listenable (have you ever listened to "Resonance"?). They WANT them to fail.
