In recent months Kool's broadcast reach has been very good, but since the weekend I seem to picking up a Heart Fm signal, around South London/ into Surrey.

There's a "lift" on - high pressure zone causes tropospheric effects which bring in long distance FM stations. I can hear an Italian station from Modena here at the moment, and WDR 3 (German state broadcaster) right next to them from München.

Their aerial has blown out of shape at the site and is literally only getting out about 200m! I have no idea why they haven't sorted it, its been like that a while now.

Think it's off air I can't pick it up at all was picking it up quite well a few weeks ago

I doubt it. But they have been off for a bit now, since Nov last year. But I'm sure they will be back when their good and ready.

No idea, but still seem to be broadcasting live as much as ever online at any rate, unlike a lot of stations where when they're not on FM the DJs don't bother to turn up for their shows.

Probably all just saving up their pocket money together for a new rig, I'd give them a few more months...

They're doing two months in an art gallery again, so doubt they'll come on the FM until after that ends.

Last time they did another gallery, the FM had pre-recorded sets.
