Howdy all, I'm interested in looking into building a streaming server as I want to host a few online stations and I've some friends that are interested in renting some space for their stream.
I'd rather not pay out through the nose for server hosts when I can build and host my own..
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Spin up a virtual Linux box on one of the cloud platforms like Azure and install icecast/shoutcast.
