Can anybody add or know how to add my station to tunein?

They have not been accepting new stations for about 2 years now.

Yeah people have really been struggling to get their station added on there in recent times.

Might be because they have set a max number of stations that they can handle or something? They changed their whole ethos to a paid service about the same time they stopped accepting new submissions, so maybe its something to do with that?

I reckon its probably more lucrative to get your station on an Alexa, it's a bit of a faff, but I think it has more potential to reach listeners than tune-in. I've seen sites offering to add you for a fee, but there are instructions on line on how to do it yourself for free.

The problem with creating an Alexa skill is that you need to provide PRS registration details. I set one up and it got rejected due to music copyright. Unless i did something completely wrong.

I think tune-in had a few legal challenges re copyright a while ago. Remember reading it somewhere...

Guess they had to tidy things up. They could do with sorting some of the dead links out.

Online radio box works well and the app is handy on my phone.

New stations are appearing on tunein. Now whether they are taking over dead stations or whether tunein is actually accepting them i don't know.
