Hi everyone hope you are well.
I've been wiring a couple of my satcans recently and it was a sweet as a nut but then my 12v regulators on 2 different cans I noticed were outputting 10v .Does anyone know why this is?I soldered the tabs to the can.I think maybe I overheated it when soldering. My soldering iron temp is 330 degrees C.When I turn on the power supply I get about 10.7 on the otherside of the regulator then it slowly drops.

What voltage do you have going in? ....you should need around 14v input to get 12v out and anything less than that could result in a lower voltage coming out.

Don’t worry I realised what my mistake was
I had 13.8v going it to it which is fine in worked perfectly on the other satcans I was wiring where is didn’t make this stupid mistake.
