DJ Software for Macs?
I am asking for my daughter who has just started learning how to DJ and would like to know what decent DJ software is available for Apple Macs?
....I am clueless myself and don't use Macs, I am looking for something like Traktor, Virtual DJ etc.

I like Mixxx. It's free and easily removed if not what you're after. I'm on Linux but can be used on Macs.

Traktor.
Used it for the last 6 years on the same mac linked to a Kontrol S2 and it's never once let me down. The software is easy to use and the hardware is well built.
I've also used it with an iPad and Z1 controller. This combo packs in a laptop bag, it's cheap as chips and the software is free.
Integration with iTunes/apple music is seamless.

The free version is for the iPad only. It's called Traktor DJ and the paid version is DJ Pro.
I'm a couple of years behind on that info so will go and check the site now and make sure.

I used it on an iPad with the K1 controller and thought it was brilliant.
You're not going to win any competitions with it but I ran Live sets whilst on holiday in France last year and it worked a treat.
Others lugged their vinyl with them in 35 C temps and I had an ipad and K1 lol.

Ahh OK I see what you mean now, shame it's not free for her MacBook but I didn't think it would be.
Nice one, thanks
