just tested my dipole i had in the garage, still works like a dream swr around 1.5
the sound reproduction on these boards is quite good I've just found out, sounded nice, bass and crispness just straight out of an samsung mobile

There are lots of metal fabricators. Most of them will bend you a box for a few quid. Just phone around. Some of them a desperate for work!

ok so I got one of these rds encoders from the Turkish lad on ebay,
wired it up to 12v cat batt with the rig and attached it, thing bleeps like mad on the broadcast if its within half a metre of the rdvv board, red light flashes not sure if it should be on solid? also nightmare thing wont save my settings, it's got one already saved all in french with scrolling?
anyone used one of these before?

Is that screened cable you are using for the audio in/RDS out connections? Just a thought - it looks the same as the power cable in the picture. Putting the RDS encoder in a screened metal box with the connecting leads as short as possible might help if your problem is caused by RF from the transmitter.
