On Essex mux at 80k DAB mono, I'm guessing the mux isn't capable of doing DAB+. Must be paying more for 80k than 32k DAB+.

Do you know else is involved Albert? I can't see anyone but Morgan Khan mentioned on the website.

In typical style it's all about the 80s but the world's moved on since then. He seems completely out of touch.

Of course an A-list roster would change everything so it'll be interesting to see who's signed up.

Looks like the grand launch has crashed under the weight of 300 online listeners. No mention of any presenters.

The website's caught up now. Mugshots, bios and all.

Unsurprisingly, it's a line up of faces from the 80s and 90s. And when I tuned in just now, they were playing Wishing Well by Terrence Trent Darby.

Then I tuned in to Centreforce (never listened to them before) and some Nu Disco tune was on. I don't know it and neither does Soundhound.

It's only one moment in time but at that moment Streetsounds was more a threat to Radio 2 and Smooth than to Centreforce lol.

Sounds like an ideal station if you find the music on Heart FM a bit too heavyweight.

Ok I can see how Mi Soul and Solar could be losers. You think Streetsounds could take listeners from CF, M-H, Select and Release too? I don't know enough about their programming to comment.

Nice to hear a few ex LWR Presenters on board
A proper Electro hip hop show too, waited too damn long for this.
If I had a chance I’d start a station up dedicated to just this...an era that gets forgotten too easily.
Not too many shout outs either - more music less talk
All in all I’m impressed with the content
I’ll switch between CF n SS when it suits ie the poxy CF adverts

Enjoyed Centreforce but the talking over music got over my nerves, oddly the great days of pirate radio I could tolerate it but not any more.
