I doubt we will ever get a legit version of Pira RDS coding! Unless Jan decides to release it himself.

The dual op-amp can be a TL072, but I found that the LM358 gave me cleaner signals (probably because of the filtering effect of the slower slew rate). I've also got a Veroboard version, but haven't drawn it up yet.

I had a look at the board, and discovered a missing resistor in the output filter. This version fixes that and makes the labelling a bit clearer.

I used 2N3904 transistors throughout. The supply diode is a 1N4148 - it just prevents silly mistakes!

Iv just got round to building sinus's originally posted RDS encoder from the start of this thread. Its making alot of noise. Like Ghost noises. If i try and filter it out, i loose RDS. Iv never had this issue with other rds encoders. what could it be ?

Hello all, hope you're all keeping well, it's been absolutely ages since I've logged onto the website. Now I've got a bit of time again to get the soldering iron out.
I've seen models flying around of sinus rds encoder,
Am I blind, is there a download link somewhere embedded into the forum to download the project and files. Many thanks. Hope its not a dumb question, I am getting a bit blind in my older age, lol.

Hello Electronics Hobby

I can assure you that you did not miss anything, There was no links posted on this project for a few reasons.

Firstly, The Gerber files for the PCB are not really necessary unless you are looking to get them manufactured?
The circuit itself is not critical and can be easily built on Proto Board.

Secondly, The software involves using EXE files which can in some cases be deemed harmful to PCs! Although i have used the software several times, I did not want to be held responsible for any miss-use of the files in question.

Hello Rigmo!

I am not sure about WiFi support? Maybe it is possible to send commands via remote software or some kind of wireless adaptor?

USB does work with the appropriate drivers and some modifications as explained throughout this thread.

I may post more details in the near future, Watch this space!
