Dab and unlimited data
With the good deals nowadays for loads of data and unlimited data isn't going to help with people going dab , and phone connected to tunein est and no need to rescan and just about any radio station anywhere where I have moved to now I can't hear any London stations now on dab and the sound quality is very good online just one station I can get from London one fm up here 105 miles north of London is the 106.2 heart still and it is the London signal

I used to live in Trowbridge, West Wilts in the early 2000s and could pick up Heart 106.2 crystal clear, had a dipole in the loft into a sensitive car radio.

Indeed.

it's only 2kW Vertical + 2kW Horizontal and not one of those high power 250kW bastards....

Sorry I just realised that I have the wrong information you are right amazing that it's only 2k it probably goes so far because 106.2 isn't used again for miles away

Re: Dab and unlimited data
I have a Samsung S10, and it works very well in my car. I have no problem listening to streams whilst mobile in most places in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and parts of Belgium. My handy contract has (virtually) unlimited streaming, and I don't think that I've ever managed to achieve "overage" charges in the last few years. It's on "EE" in the UK ("Nothing Anywhere"), and the contract (SIM only) costs £12 / month. The only issue I have is the problem that EE seem to have with VPNs - they don't seem to like them much, and use "DNS poisoning" to prevent the use of several widely advertised services.

Re: Dab and unlimited data
I have unlimited data and the Samsung S20 that also works well and that has sealed it for me missing dab and either listening on fm or straight online
