Re: Infrared 105.1
Yes, I'm receiving it here in Bermondsey SE1. It's not very strong here and is getting knocked by Radio X on 104.9. Reception is slightly improved for me by tuning to 105.15 to take out Radio X.
It's the same station that used to be on 97.5, there was another thread about them here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2811
I expect they realised 97.5 is not a good frequency to use, because of LBC being on 97.3, although 105.1 is a pretty awful choice too because of the proximity of Radio X.

From what I've heard so far sounds good, Radio X interfering in with signal in some parts of London. Anyone caught a live show yet?

Re: 105.1
Been regularly listening to Infrared's stream since they emerged last xmas on 97.5. Great to hear they've come back on 105.1 now & hopefully they go on a good run as I think this station is pure quality! Serious tunes everytime I tune in! Their style of D'n'B really needs to be applauded/appreciated.

Re: 105.1
This station has now changed frequency to 105.15, putting it smack bang in the middle between Radio X on 104.9 and Magic Radio on 105.4. It also gets rid of the bad knocking it was getting from Radio X. The signal is now much better here in Bermondsey SE1, nice and clear, with no interference from Radio X on 104.9 any more.

So the plot thickens; the show heard for the past mornings is Frisky DJ’s which is relayed on a number of stations nationally. Can’t understand why Infrared do this, has nothing to do with their music policy….

Re: 105.1
Also, not sure if 105.15 was the wisest of moves as not all car radios can lock to that, mine cant. Perhaps they need to find another frequency. Still, loving their output, good live shows today

Re: 105.1
Noticed that Wax were relaying Frisky's show this morning as well & I thought exactly the same thing! Was very odd thinking I was gonna gonna hear some hard DnB but ended up hearing some bitchy RnB instead on a DnB station. I locked off instantly! Have to admit though, having your showed relayed on various pirates across the country is a big look, so fair play to Frisky for that. Re: 105.1
Yeah fair play, but how does Frisky get so many stations to relay his stream on stations that don’t play his style of music?? Big up Wax, good to hear em backCasual wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 12:25 amNoticed that Wax were relaying Frisky's show this morning as well & I thought exactly the same thing! Re: 105.1
Tonight I’m getting them better on 105.1 than 105.15 but with a bit more power than before, perhaps they’ve moved site and freq?
As for Frisky that could possibly explain the situation

Re: 105.1
Yes, I confirm that they have moved frequency, back to 105.1, and there is indeed an improvement in reception here in Bermondsey SE1, strong stereo signal, and the RDS of "infrared" locks on straight away.
