I noticed a much stronger signal coming out on 107.8 wiping out Radio Jackie about 3.30pm today, I heard some rap music which didn't sound like Radio Jackie's style! They went off air so it might have been someone testing their rig. Not a great choice of frequency and I suspect Ofcom will take them down quickly if they come back on the same frequency for longer.

About 30 minutes ago, I heard some drum n bass on 87.5. There's been a blank carrier on there lately, and this evening I heard some music. I didn't have time to ID it but will check it again later.

Looks like they didn't even make it as far into the New Year, for whatever reason. I noticed 106.5 went quiet for a short while around the same time but good to hear it back in action again.

Blank carrier on 87.5 since yesterday

Maybe it's Bass UK Radio coming back on and the short stint was just a test?

Is the signal the same?

Seems a bit stronger than before now you mention it. I've done some tweaking of my rx my end which may have helped a little.

Wk-end is one of the strongest I can pick up on 106.5, it's sitting at around -35 dBFS.

87.5 is -44 dBFS. Can hear some crackling, I have it set on mono.

Forgot to mention Wax are coming out very well the last couple of days on 102.4. Couldn't hear it before then. Currently hovering at around -39.4 dBFS.

Just went to check on 87.5 and it went off air only moments ago. Signal seemed a bit stronger at -39 dBFS. As you say, they are probably testing.

UK Bass Radio have changed from 87.5fm 'test' to 104.3fm South West London.

BBC Berks in Reading gets out like a pile of shit for 1kW from that office block.

....104.4 had a power increase from 20w to 50w due to pirate related interference but is a waste of time of a station, I've heard some seriously weird shit on there.

And they don't just waste one frequency with their tripe output, but several!

Apart from 104.1 at Hannington in North Hampshire the other 3 are very weak 95.4 is in Windsor and I got root's 95.4 cutting in as near 5 miles towards London
