Radio blackbeard 1512am
How far away has radio blackbeard signal been picked up on mw. Can't get it over here in Co derry but listen online.

The thing is that you are using the car and in an interference-full town. Whenever I'm on the radio again with a long wire antenna I'll see if I can get it any better. There's another post about blackbeard I've seen before I'll link it below for you. I believe he only has something like an 8 or 11w carrier, could be wrong

I’ve not heard him for a while i’m about 90kms away, I did hear it alot in 2022, it was on an evening, think it must of been skywave reception. There was something written in the mw blog a while ago, they had upgraded the aerial, it was 150w but maybe he’s reduced it since? or moved frequencies? this was in 2016, there is a lot more information there about it, sounds like he started in the x band also as a shortwave station before moving down.
