I was checking to see if the kool breakaway station was on simple radio I could not find it but stumbled across cyndicut stream instead

Just found a clip talking about him saying the reason they had such a strong signal was they broadcast off the top of the biggest electricity plyon (footage of it in the clip_

We started using the pylon 2007 after the cops set a trap for us at the block but we got away..
yes DAZ started the station with a couple of his pals and the studio was in his nans house..

I vaguely remember when I first found out about the pylon.
I didn't think anyone had balls big enough to climb that fucker to be honest. My hat goes off to the tek crew

Tallest pylon in the whole UK at 193m AGL

....I could pick it up pretty clear down here in Worthing on the West Sussex coast on 90.6 about 7 years ago
