Croydon FM 97.8 & 99.4

Just clocked that Croydon FM is on 2 frequencies, is that usual for a community station or did the com give them a sweetheart deal.
As the other frequency could of be used by another station.

Yeah I agree it seems a bit much being on two freqs especially when it's a station for Croydon!

...Choice used to be on 107.1 as well as 96.9 to cover both sides of London but it's a bit weird to have two frequencies to cover Croydon.

Anyone know where 99.4 TX is coming from? Had a look online but can't find much about it yet.

One is from Crystal Palace I believe and the other is just Croydon. Maybe 99.4 is Londonwide and 97.8 is Croydon only?

I think you might be right about 97.8 coming from Croydon it's on the big "Croydon" mast, but as for 99.4 I don't think that's coming from Palace but there's another new one joined it quite recently on 92.4 called Rainbow but as far as I know so far, 99.4 isn't there but will just have to wait and see for fresh information to get added.
