80s/90s Yorkshire/Midlands/London

Post up any and all pirate recordings you've accumulated! Whether it's a hissy, faded C90 cassette rip from 1989 or a 320kbps stream rip from 2012, we want to hear it.

Found this : http://www.reddisability.org/anthonys-airchecks/

Lots of recordings of stations from back in the day including TKO (an old favourite of mine). Not all the files seem to be still there but there's plenty to enjoy.

P.S. I've tried sending that link to a few people and the site came up as unreachable - you may need to type the address into a browser rather than click it as they may have some weird protection going on.
if it ain't broke, keep tweaking

Very interesting, Forge fm Sheffield and Sure fm university station are mentioned rsls, not many of the Sheffield pirates are there though unforunately, I accidentally clicked on the Dream fm London one thinking it was the Leeds one :D

I think the problem is that his site doesn't use HTTPS, and most browsers default to only accepting secure connections these days. With Firefox you have to click on 'Accept the risk and continue' and it should load.

Nice find BTW, there are some clips from the 1st Forge FM RSL in 1992 when it was still based in the University of Sheffield. I've only got tapes from '94 onwards when I joined.
