Blast 106 (Belfast) poor signal

Anyone else noticed that this station appears to be on reduced power for several weeks now ?

Initially put it down to the fact that it's a community station and I'm living a bit outside the official TSA but while driving through Belfast today I briefly checked out 106.4 and reception is still pretty woeful (Belfast's other RSL's are much stronger).

I though it was a community station not an rsl, it was in breach in 2013

I know nothing about the station, but
I'm assuming you have ruled out anything to do with your car for the reception deterioration, such as installation of aftermarket LED headlights which can be serious noise generators at VHF ?

It's a community station although IIRC OFCOM used to (still do ? ) class these licences as "long term restricted services licences".

Parked in Belfast city centre right now their signal strength is not particularly strong with some fading. Radio map gives the TX location as Cornway (Conway ?) mill which is maybe 1.5Km from here

Perhaps i’m mistaken I don’t know I thought long term restricted service licences were mostly exstreamly low power, usually 50mw, usually for things like hospitals which were only allowed in remote areas. The thing that came before community radio I think was known as access radio. There were some lpam stations which were allowed to take part in a low power fm trial, allowing up to 2watts on an fm frequency.

Both community stations are 50w, looks like there is something wrong, odd for it to be this way that long, when this happened with fever they informed the listener straight away, within a day it was back up..

Not surprising it's a weak signal judging by the installation on the mb21 photos.
