the eye (103.0 from melton mowbury) is receiveable here again today it was mentioned in another thread, seems to be a tropo duct happening at the moment, stations from the south are coming in much stronger than usual, some eire transmitters are also receiveable. some of the signals from the south are fully quiet
maybe checking online receivers to see what else is available, new castle one had lots of clear frequencies on it, I had a listen to the north west one on sunday no pirates detected, think it may of been closer to bham though as I could get capital on 102.2.
Its still there if you want to check your radios, yesersday it dissapeared within an hour, I don’t think it was happening the rest of the day could be wrong, would you believe it I actually heard in car transmitter while listening to the eye. The music on it dosen’t seem that bad on it, varied I heard enya then mika then something exstreamly old.
Theres two community stations I hear under tropo seaside fm, the eye, quite interesting you could hear these stations under tropo, (imagine sea gulls and fish and chips) the original idea was they would only go 2 miles, they often do use 10’s of watts have good signals. When i’ve tuned about on online receivers their often the only things I hear that I playing anything different.
