Been talking about coax and BFG amplifier a while ago. I decided to build test VCO to test some things, how frequency depends on coax length, and how much gain I need to get 1W from BFG (or a pair). Already checked the first part. Now is time to build some power stages to drive BFG (97 or 135 or 198, I don't pick yet). I also wondering if use of MMIC is a good idea. Now I get 0.072mW from a VCO, and 1-1.5mW after one stage amplifier. The VCO is based on my previous projects, but with some changes to accomodate coax oscillator and BFR520 transistors. Any ideas and hints welcome

Bom and excel to RG178/RG316/RG58 in attachment.

And bring back to prototype... I seen many times mainly russian guys that build their RF/HF circuits like a grenade explodes in electronic shop, and was wondering how tf it is working, while mine "perfectly" desinged PCBs doesn't. Now I can say, they got a point.
