Same here in Glasgow, Scotland. I managed to hear Today FM from Dublin, Ireland on 105.5MHz loud and clear.

I could get good enough reception on a pocket radio today walking around, 87.8 particularly with it been in the clear, the weather is also like a spring day. Its knocking out a few community stations, today fm is a new transmitter here on 101.8, lyric 97.8, there is even news talk in the upper part of the fm band.

It took ages to read all the comments on fm watchdogs, seemed like they were hearing this too, I looked on some online receivers yesterday afternoon but couldn’t hear anything the nearest ones were 10’s of miles away, the band was full here.

Years ago I did hear energy often, dosen’t seem like much comes through in the upper part of the fm band, 105.5 one is the higher powered one, I can’t hear it that well due to two capital transmitters.

Caught something this morning about 5 am don't know if it was the lift or what but got something called, summat supergold on 89.6 in between radio 2's .. With it being on 89.6 i saw it as deliberate and not some lift because it's not on a legal stations frequency!

89.6 is one of the mount lenister frequencies maybe rte, or maybe someone relaying something called supergold. Someone else were said they had radio nova, legal now it used to related to pirate radio there, I think I could hear it too but it had a hard time against classic fm on 100.3. I’ve had heart on 88, quite strong too, amanda holden brifey on, lyric fm seemed to be playing the sound track to enchanted, it sounded something abit walt disney coming over the airwaves. I though ldc had gone off air as one of the lyric transmitters was coming over it. There was football on one of these stations, dance on another, wonder how long it will go on for, I don't think their strong enough to effect radios 1-4, from holme moss or any of the greatest hits/hits transmitters, I think they deliberately set them up not to clash...I kind of suspect near the coast you could maybe get something coming over holme moss which would be quite funny.

Or8 northeast..Yes it was probably rte on 89.7 ..I had a look about half hour ago and it wasn't there but received today fm 100 but had to tune to 99.9 to id it 👍.
Not had a good scan for a while and enjoyed it..Apart from all the crap that is there. All the ghr and heart relays everywhere! Why we need all these radio 2 3 and 4 transmitters pumping kilowatts all over the bottom half of the dial is anyones guess..I bet you'd struggle to lose any bbc national broadcasters down a coil mine..Coil, Barnsley for 'coal'. :whistle

You can still hear them under a motorway under pass, were the deer hang out were I go on my bike, in the loft the strongest I could get them 72dbs, this is not even high up. A low power signal goes about as far as afew 100 meters in the sub bands, against all the kw transmitters it dosen’t stand a chance. :? I think when they started most listeners had outdoor aerials, they had to reach downstairs in someones house on low quailty radios, so I suppose they had to over saturate the airwaves. I think in a place like whibty they would of had to have aerials on long poles without a transmitter there, in alot of places it is ott. Maybe they’ll be a job for a steeplejack in future fred dibnah character taking them all down

There was some talk watch dogs of some dutch guy setting up a tx below the fm band, it might be worth checking for that, my pocket radio dose go down that way, I got a radio from ali afew weeks ago, only a mono that goes all the way down to 50mhz lol its one of those were you turn it up to 1, its deafening what use it will be I don't know

its still going on don’t know if this is the 3rd or 4th day, I can get the rte transmitters on the newcastle receiver, I seem to get a few more here, 90.7 is blocked over there, their also getting heart and capital from emley. I wonder why wakefield doesn’t pick up heart on 88.0, it is caning it across here, maybe too close to the pennines, the whole band seems to be buzzing at the moment, something there on 103.3, the equivalent of been tangoed been tropoed I suppose

It was a good run. My logs from south east UK included:

89.6 RTE Radio 1 (Mount Leinster)
91.8 RTE 2FM (Mount Leinster)
94.0 RTE Radio na Gaeltachta (Mount Leinster)
98.7 RTE Lyric FM (Kippure)
99.2 RTE Lyric FM (Mount Leinster)
107.2 Newstalk (Mount Leinster)

Newstalk is the best catch here as it's only 2kW whereas Lyric FM from Kippure is 50kW and the other Mount Leinster RTE stations are all 150kW+
if it ain't broke, keep tweaking

Still going on. Been getting something french coming through on 87.7 for the last few days, strong enough to break through my little 1w attic rig from half a mile away. Possibly radio zenith in brittany
