Similar one yeah. There was a slight improvement over the Tecsun whip. The main reason I was using that was cause I wanted to connect a recorder to the Tecsun. If you are just using the whip, you loose a load of signal cause the recorder becomes part of the aerial, plus it will inject a bit of interference into the Tecsun. If you then connect an external aerial, this problem mostly goes away.

Big signal , travelled down m11, picked up crystal clear at stanstead n had it all the way to Leatherhead... You woulda thought it was a Legal ... Scrolling n signal perfect !!! Fair play n thx for making a boring drive pretty descent for once !
