what is this station playing? the only thing i can find for that frequency is either RTE radio 1 fromwhat is this station playing?

its problaly rte, used to hear lyric all the time, I often hear them on my little radio walking about, 89.6,91.8,94.0,99.2,101.4 those are some common frequencies I hear them on.

You might want to try 90.4, before northern vibes came on I could often hear a Belgium station.

I used to regularly pick up that RTE thing on 87.8 when I lived in Manchester, what music are they playing?
