Rather than switch off they have been moving up to 878 and turning volumes down etc for certain rsl's over the last year or so and seemed to have been left alone. I know the last few months before christmas they have had bit of bad run due to issues with their tx's and sites. but now they are on and getting out alright. regardless i personally think a station being on is a lot better than being off....

I think house fm had a pretty good 2015. They were off for a couple of months but other than that pretty good. For the last few months there signal has been as good if not better and more consistent than vision, all the way up the a10 and into north east herts.

They were banging out for def on their last block but nowhere near as good as their new location, they now get blasted out by classic in essex where they never used to before - they have dropped quite a bit of height and maybe power. i might beg to differ with your comparison to vision as i can get vision in places where i cant get house.
The real answer to why most people on here are complaining about signals not being as good as they used to be is that good sites are becoming harder and harder to use! roofs get locked off and alarmed, concierges get put in place and caretakers get told to make their selves busy.

I think a lot of our taxes actually get wasted on all this stuff just over pirate radio. I know of one block in east london which is wired straight up to the police station and alerts them as soon as the roof door opens!

@Mrillusion point taken. Vision is my go to station, but it has been abit hit and miss recently re:- live day time djs. But i have been impressed with house fms signal out my way.

Sorry for derailing the thread.

I was in London today, noticed 87.7 was there but was overmodding so much it was very weak but spreading from 87.5 to 88.

At last people praising house fm rather than stations like select who are beginning to sound a little on the smug side almost sounding like a better version of kiss? But not as good as they could be
