That problem with Vision is still going on, at the of typing this it is happening right now. I did think it was sorted as previously it had been much clearer and was only hearing the noise every now and then...

Ive just noticed something, when the noise starts, the rds light on my tuner totally dissapears and it will not display 'Vision'... as soon as the noise stops the rds is back... Maybe has something to do with the rds encoder?

What sort of problems can you get with rds? Ive never played with one yet...

I've got an RDS encoder which gives out a nasty wide band noise when there's no audio connected to it. I've also noticed the signal to noise ratio on the Tescun drop highly when it does this and no RDS is displayed until an audio source is connected.

Yes I was listening to Pl show too when I was typing that last message.. It kinda sounds a bit like white noise over the top of the audio, it disappeared when elmzy played his set but I guarantee it will be back...

It'll probably be being caused by an RDS Encoder manufactured (or copied) by that PCBWizard guy off eBay.

Listening to them now, at the moment it sounds ok, no noise. The RDS is acting a bit wierd though... it doesn't seem to want to display the 'Vision' Id on my tuner much, also the PI code is going mad with lots of different codes lol

Maybe they are working on it now, hopefully get it sorted. I am like fuze only listen to fm, cant be bothered with internet streams :tup

All clear this end, Braintree / Essex but not as strong as a few weeks back...same old loops tho... Sort it out ffs or we'll go elsewhere.

The problem is intermittent, sometimes its totally clear then you will hear a burst of noise over the audio, this can last a few seconds or sometimes hours! Its been playing up earlier today but sounds clear right now. You will notice the RDS drop out when you hear the noise. :whistle

Sounds like a dodgy audio cable or connection somewhere.
