102. Concsious. Not a lot said about these ... How long they been about ? East side ? Notice the scrolling rds which includes a current time which is different

As far as I remember they came on in the late 00s, I'm guessing around 2007/2008? They get out well.

A very good community station but doesn't get out west that well because the beat fm is on 101.9 on the north west side of London and is to close to 102

Yes it's not a great frequency and with respect due Beat were on their first, but....
I still remember when beat was on 107.1 in the early 90s and them moving to 101.9 completely wiping over Freek at my house.
Before that another thing came on 101.9 around 1996 called Breeze FM from Hounslow or Feltham area, I think it was a one rig wonder and only on for a couple of weeks. I think Beat moved to 101.9 shortly after.

Chilling fm a house station from Essex was 102 before until about 2009? and was a good signal and I knew beat was first

Yeah that's it Chillin FM 102.0.
I also remember Chillin FM 97.6 (east??) around the mid 90s and 102.9 Chillin FM (Romford) which were both on at the same with good signals in the same areas lol.

Chillin 102.9 later became Indulgence, as for 97.6 I have no idea.

The later Chillin on 102.0 was a variety of old skool House/Jungle/Hardcore/Garage sure it had the odd few classic soul shows aswell, had some wicked sets on there from the likes of Bubbler Kool Fm & PL who's now on Vision, signal always done well too

The chilling on 97.6fm was the first pirate I ever found in 1991

Had a mate that played on there a few sets must of been around 1993/1994, said to me the station owner was 'built like a brick shit house' lol
