Pickit 3 clones
As anyone tried one of the pickit 3 clones on ebay for £8.50 compared to £37 for a genuine one, do they work as they look virtually identical except it's missing the m logo, will mplab x ide recognise a clone when plugged in, i've ordered one to give it a go but i'm not sure if it will work or not but thought i'd take a punt.

At least being bought on eBay if it doesn't work you can send it back.

Re: Pickit 3 clones
Thanks, i got one of the clone pickit 3's from china and it worked well, the only snag i had as i didn't know when i first used it you have to go into settings to set the voltage to supply the pic chip as on the pickit 2 i used to have it supplied the voltage to the pic chip automatically when programming it.
