I discovered this about 10 years ago, but I still think its very cool, and anyone brought up in the AM or Medium wave days considers it 'proper radio!' You cant beat doing a show and flicking the studio monitors to an off air feed of your AM transmitter located several miles away and hearing a bit of co -channel, fading an dstatic - doing a link with headphones on like this really blows your mind! The DAW it runs on is Shareware so it doesn't cost anything to try it.
Anyway, here's the link! http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=86181

One thing's missing - a virtual mini transistor radio module to re-create the sound of listening under the covers late at night!
