87.5 Radio Caroline

Was picking this up on a hill near Brighton yesterday beaming to the west, picked up the same thing a few weeks ago with beam in the same direction.

....The audio sounded good and the presenter said "Radio Caroline" so I presume it's relaying a stream.

Has anyone else heard this? Do you know what kind of area it is from?

We drove over to a hill 10 miles to the west in the exact direction that the beam was facing before from the other hill but there was no sign of it.

It's NOT Retro FM.

Actual Radio Caroline is at anchor between St Lawrence and Bradwell on Sea. AFAIK they only broadcast on AM.

I'll see if I get anything on 875 anyway

It was the complete opposite direction from there, the beam was facing towards Chichester/Southampton.

I getting UK garage at the moment and I think it might be that new thing that is not getting up and running to well I don't think its livefm?

I picked it up Radio Caroline in Torquay a couple of months ago on 87.5

Now that is interesting,

....the beam was facing completely west but facing a little bit more to the north of Torquay, which is a very long way from here!
If anyone else has heard or hears this please let me know...
