managed to test one of these, the noise it puts out on fm compared to other chips is not that bad, the output antenna is not a proper sma, there seemed to be a huge difference in power between the top end of the band and the bottom, on setting 2 I was getting 10+db at the top end a minus figure. Think that is designed to work with a short antenna maybe the reason why there is such difference. With the other 0.5w transmitters I have there are duplicate signals in the fm band, so aren't that good..I connected to the loft antenna could hear quite well a mile away, stereo sign was present in one or two places, not an overly strong signal but not bad if you had nothing else, it works from 5volts. Think the other minor problem might be you have to press play to get it to connect to the 3.5mm jack, don't know whether to mess about with it to get it to produce an even response.
