Hi all...
I have an AV Broadcast LTD 1 Watt FM transmitter that I purchased about a year ago, and was my first transmitter. The transmitter is currently set to 87.8 and I want to change the frequency.
Inside the transmitter is a dip switch and then hidden away in the corner printed on the circuit board says 'frequency programming key' with the following below....
1 - 2048
2 - 32
3 - 16
4 - 64
5 - 8
6 - 4
7 - 2
8 - 1024
9 - 512
10 - 128
11 - 256
12 - 1
-------------------------------
The dip switch on the top has the word 'ON' and then the following switches are in the 'ON' position....
3,4,5,6,8,9,10
And the rest of the dip switches are in the down position....
1,2,7,11,12
Can anybody work out the key for frequency 93.2 ??..... I'm puzzled by this!.!
Here is a link to AV Broadcast website with the 1 watt transmitter

Thanks

Re: Frequency Programming Key
I'm not 100% sure this is the correct way but the switch positions you have listed for the ON position add upto 1756 if you devide this by two it comes out at 878 and you said the transmitter is on 87.8, i'm just guessing at this.
What ever frequency you want times it by 2 then set the dips switches to that, say you wanted 93.2Mhz that would be 932 x 2 =1864, then set the dip switches to the on position that adds upto 1864.
Switches in ON position
4=64
5=8
8=1024
9=512
11=256
Set in the ON position add upto 1864/2 = 932
It may or may not work.
