Something wierd going on 90.8fm, getting Vibes RDS message on the freq. Sounds like Vibes are linked into it and Lightning are trying to tune their link :whistle

Yeah they're both very local to each other, I'm guessing Lightening must've moved closer to Vibes TX site and they're obviously both tuned to the same STL frequency lol. Ooops.

I think they both use the same builder so it's his fault! :D

Council related I bet, once you end up battling the council you find yourselves constantly trying to find somewhere new until they then see it up again and start pulling plugs or ripping down aerials.

 Suppose it also deppends on the funds in some council's on how long they last trying, wonder if ofcom are getting the council to do the dirty work to save them coming out "Take the aerials down and do whatever you can to stop the getting on your roofs" passing the buck maybe to do with the funds being cut at Ofcom a while back, so i heard anyway. Pirates are always 1 step ahead though thats the advantage right there aint it :D

I read a very recent article online somewhere that Ofcom are now working closely with certain London councils (Haringay was the borough mentioned in this particular article) to eradicate pirate radio activity in their areas. Thanks to their joint efforts the article claimed that Haringey was now pirate-free! (Of course I don't know how true that bold claim was or if it is indeed still the case!) So it that joint operation was supposedly successful and the councils are now allegedly doing Ofcoms dirty work (which could very well be to do with their funding being cut) then they may be in cahoots or looking to get in cahoots with other boroughs to roll out similar schemes. In other words: BOLLOX!!!
